Delete your NokPal account
You can ask us to delete your NokPal account and the personal data linked to it at any time. You don't need to install the app or sign in to this website to do it.
Option 1: Delete it in the app (instant)
- Open NokPal and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap your profile card.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted right away and you're signed out. This works for accounts created with Apple, Google or email.
Option 2: Request deletion here (no app, no sign-in)
Use this if you've uninstalled the app, lost your phone or can't sign in. Enter the email address of your NokPal account.
Prefer email? Write to asadbek.s.dev@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “NokPal account deletion request”.
What happens next
- Your request reaches us right away.
- Within 7 days we email the address you gave us and ask you to reply to confirm. This protects you from someone else deleting your account. If you can't receive mail at that address, tell us what you can show us instead (for example, details only the account owner would know).
- Once confirmed, we delete your account and data (below) within 30 days of your request, usually much sooner, and tell you when it's done.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first so you aren't charged again.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is permanently deleted from our database and file storage:
- Your account and sign-in link (Apple, Google or email), including your email address
- Your profile, onboarding answers and settings (height, weight, birth date, gender, goals, diet and eating habits)
- Your meal log: meals, ingredients, nutrition values and Nok's notes
- Your meal photos, progress photos and profile picture
- Your weight history, water intake logs and water reminder schedule
- Your daily nutrition summaries, streaks and scan usage counters
- Your subscription and entitlement status and payment records stored in our own database
This can't be undone. We can't restore a deleted account.
What may be kept, and for how long
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| A record of your deletion request: a one-way hash of your email (not the address itself) and the date it was handled | To show we handled your request | Up to 12 months |
| Backups of our database that still contain your data | Disaster recovery. They aren't used for anything else and age out on their own schedule | Up to 30 days after deletion |
| Short-lived security and error logs from our hosting provider | Keeping the service secure and working | Up to 30 days |
| Anonymous data that isn't linked to your account: cached AI results keyed to an image fingerprint, and anonymous download-link click counts | Speeds up analysis and measures which links work. Neither contains your name, email or account ID | Kept |
| Records we're legally required to keep, such as for tax, fraud prevention or a dispute (none at present) | Legal obligations | Only as long as the law requires |
Some data is held by other companies under their own policies and isn't in our control: purchase and billing records at Apple, Google and payment providers, and any meal photo processed by our AI provider while it was analysed. See our Privacy Policy for details.
